Venues

These are some of the venues at which we’ve played in recent years.  While not exhaustive, the list should give you an idea of our normal range.

Distance: our notional base is Chesterfield, Derbyshire.  We will gladly travel some distance to play for you, and there is no extra fee for venues up to one-and-a-half hours driving time from Chesterfield.

We do ask a modest £40 for venues over one-and-a-half hours away, and £60 for venues over two hours away.  Occasionally we have travelled to the Lake District, or to North Wales, when we can sometimes combine the engagement with a weekend away.

Most of our venues have been halls, hotels and churches, but we have played in a fair number of unusual situations.  We’ve played for Marks and Spencers in Derby, and in several car showrooms around the area. ‘Come Dine With Me’ was filmed in a tiny Victorian front room in Wakefield.  We’ve played in a quarry near Buxton (for the Princess Royal), and even on a launch on Derwentwater.  Needless to say, we always cope!
